Support for dogs with big feelings and the humans walking beside them.

What We Offer

Support for dogs with big feelings and the humans walking beside them.

At Adventures with Tilley, we offer supportive dog walking, behaviour support, training guidance, and real-life coaching in East Kent for dogs who need more than just exercise.

We specialise in working with dogs who are:

  • Reactive to dogs or people

  • Nervous, anxious, or lacking confidence

  • Overstimulated on walks

  • Pulling on the lead or struggling to settle

  • Unable to cope in busy environments

  • Struggling with social interactions

  • Easily overwhelmed or frustrated

  • Touch sensitive or uncomfortable being handled

  • Wary of strangers (stranger danger behaviours)

  • Displaying resource guarding behaviours

Many of these behaviours come from fear, overwhelm, or uncertainty — not “bad behaviour”. We help you understand what your dog is communicating so you can support them with clarity and confidence.

Whether you’re dealing with daily walk stress or more complex behavioural challenges, our services are designed to help you and your dog feel calmer, safer, and more understood.

Our Approach

Everything we do is built around:

  • Partnership, not pressure

  • Understanding, not correction

  • Connection, not control

  • Real-life learning, not rigid training

  • Emotional safety for both dog and guardian

We focus on how your dog feels, not just how they behave — because behaviour is communication, not disobedience.

A Community That Understands

Many of our clients come to us feeling overwhelmed, embarrassed, or unsure where to start.

You are not alone.

Whether your dog struggles with reactivity, touch sensitivity, stranger danger, resource guarding, or confidence, we meet you where you are — without judgement, pressure, or unrealistic expectations.

More Than Just Dog Walking

This is not just about exercise.

We help you:

  • Understand your dog’s behaviour and communication

  • Feel confident handling real-life situations

  • Support your dog through challenges like reactivity, anxiety, and overwhelm

  • Build a calmer, more connected partnership

You’re not just booking a walk — you’re gaining support, guidance, and a community that understands.
