Social Walks

Social Walks

Calm, Structured Group Walks with Ongoing Guidance

£15

Approximately 1.5 Hours-2.5 Hours depending on Location

Supportive group walks are designed to help dogs and their humans navigate real-life social environments with confidence.

At Adventures with Tilley, Social Walks are not chaotic pack walks. They are calm, structured, and guided, with continued support throughout.

This is where your dog begins to apply everything they’ve learned, in a real-world setting, with the right support in place.

Before You Join

To ensure the right fit for both you and the group, all new clients must complete a 1:1 assessment before joining Social Skills Walks.

This allows us to:

  • Understand your dog’s behaviour, needs, and triggers

  • Make sure this is the right next step

  • Set you up with the right guidance from the start

  • Keep all dogs and owners safe and supported

We will always recommend the most suitable starting point for your dog, whether that’s Neutral Walks, Social Skills, or alternative support.

Who These Walks Are For

Social Walks are ideal for dogs who:

  • Are ready for controlled social interaction

  • Have built some confidence through previous support

  • Need continued guidance around other dogs and people

  • Benefit from calm, structured group environments

  • Are working towards more natural social behaviour

And for owners who:

  • Want support in real-life situations

  • Are building confidence handling their dog around others

  • Want to continue learning while walking

What to Expect

Owners attend with their dogs, and training is built into every walk.

You’ll be supported to:

  • Continue improving communication with your dog

  • Read and respond to body language in real time

  • Support calm, appropriate social interactions

  • Navigate real-life situations with confidence

This is about progress, not perfection, and building consistency in everyday environments

What Makes These Walks Different

These are not free-for-all group walks.

Each walk is:

  • Calm and structured

  • Carefully managed to support all dogs

  • Focused on safe, appropriate interactions

  • Designed to prevent overwhelm and reduce pressure

There is always guidance available, and dogs are supported at the level they are comfortable with.
